Thunder strikes couple's house two days after wedding

E-Daily Kenya reports that the incident happened just two days after the couple got married.
The lightening razed down the whole building, destroying all the properties, including the new couple's gift items given to them by their loved one during their wedding two days before.

A village elder, Muyeng Arap Cherono, the couple escaped the incident because they were out on honeymoon.

The new wife, Judith Jekporir, said she couldn't believe her ears when her neighbors called them to inform them about the sad update. She said she has been depressed since then.

One of the residents however claimed that it is a sign of bad omen for the new couple, hence, the need to perform spiritual cleansing.
