ADMISSION INTO FULL AND PART TIME POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2017/2018 ACADEMIC SESSION
Lagos State University Postgraduate School invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various Postgraduate Programmes (Full-Time and Part Time) for the 2017/2018 Academic Session.                                                    

1.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENT[S]
 The University requires Five [ 5 ] CREDITS including  English Language at Ordinary Level (GCE, WASC, SSCE, NECO and NABTEB) for ALL Courses and Credit in MATHEMATICS at Ordinary Level for SCIENCE, SOCIAL SCIENCES, MANAGEMENT SCIENCES and EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT Courses.

2.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION
 Applicants are required to pay the sum of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00) non-refundable application fee into LASU Account on-line.
All applicants shall be required to sit for Qualifying Entrance Examination on the Main Campus at various Departments on dates to be announced later.

The Closing date for the application forms is six (6) weeks from the date of this publication.
Application forms for all programmes should be submitted on-line and a copy of the e-Registration Slip, printed out by the applicant.

5.0 GENERAL INFORMATION:
 Candidates who have not completed the National Youth Service Corps assignment or their current Postgraduate Programmes need NOT apply.
 All academic transcripts must be received latest two (2) weeks after the close of sale of forms.
 Request for transfer of processed application forms from one Department to another will not be entertained
 Candidates must personally attend the selection and written examinations as make-up test will NOT be conducted.

ADMISSION INTO LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMMES IN FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE
1.0 PREAMBLE:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the under-listed programmes in Lagos State University Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies.
2.0 OBJECTIVES:
The major objective of the Certificate programmes in Fisheries and Aquaculture, is to produce proficient persons with good knowledge of Fisheries and aquaculture to employ themselves and be in positions of employers of labor and thereby satisfying the manpower, required at National and Continental levels in Fisheries, Aquaculture and allied disciplines for economic development. In addition, it will enhance the employability of those who may not be entrepreneurs.
This Certificate will qualify candidates for funding schemes. There are opportunities for LASU graduates, who possess any of these certificates, to access START-UP FUNDS of the LAGOS STATE GRADUATE SUPPORT SCHEME and other funding agencies.

4.1 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

4.2 MODE AND TIME OF LECTURE:
Lectures shall be held on eight (8) consecutive Saturdays (2 months). Lectures shall include practical-oriented interactive sessions and field trips.

4.3 MODE OF EXAMINATION:
Assessment of students’ performance shall be by report writing and oral seminar presentation (including a business plan/model in the chosen area).
