If Neymar wants to be liked as much as Messi, Maybe he needs to stop This...

Celtic defender Mikael Lustig has spoken about Neymar’s antics on Tuesday night and has given an interesting verdict of the whole situation.

The Paris Saint-Germain star completed his world record move to Parc des Princes side from Barcelona in the summer for 198million pounds.

One of the reasons why he decided to join the Ligue 1 giants is because he wants to be recognised as the best player in the world.

However, despite impressing in the 5-0 win against Celtic on Tuesday, he also caught the attention of everyone after refusing to shake hands with the 18-year-old Hoops defender Antony Ralston.

Neymar was also shown a yellow card for diving and Lustig believes that he needs to change his attitude if he wants to emulate Messi as the world’s best.

“It was the same as usual from Neymar. He is an unbelievable footballer but we have seen the other stuff before and we will see it again,” Lustig told reporters.

“I have said before that it’s part of his game. He tries to over-react a bit to make the defender step off. We will see it again and again.

“If he wants to be liked as much as Messi, maybe he needs to stop that.”
