Mourinho argues the fifth over corner that prompted victory

Jose Mourinho has guaranteed he couldn't see the dubious corner, which prompted his side's triumphant objective against Brighton.

The triumphant strike in the 1-0 win came when Ashley Young's shot avoided off Lewis Dunk and into the net. Yet, it originated from a corner, which Seagulls' chief Chris Hughton said was in reality an objective kick after a touch from United striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Special One picked to evade the level headed discussion by saying he couldn't see the occurrence being referred to.

"The corner is on the opposite side of the pitch. The linesman was two meters away, I am perhaps 80 meters away, I have no clue," Mourinho said at his post-coordinate public interview.

"I simply think Lukaku was extraordinary in his push to battle for the ball."

The Portuguese was content with the way his side combat, nonetheless, and felt Lukaku specifically was great.

"I saw everyone playing for the spotless sheet and giving everything," he said.

"Individuals like Lukaku playing wide on the left and pursuing safeguards, the midfield players shutting the space in the center. So I am content with the state of mind.
