LASU suspends College of Medicine Provost over money related unfortunate behavior

The Provost of the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), Professor Babatunde Akibu Solagberu has been suspended for budgetary indecency.

As indicated by a report by BlackBox Nigeria, the administration of Lagos State University requested the IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION of the past Provost of its College of Medicine which is arranged in Ikeja from office regarding a few infractions by the Provost against the standards and controls of the University, for the most part verging on budgetary indecencies and managerial misfortunes.

Babatunde Solagberu, a Professor of Orthopedic surgery was selected Provost in February 2016.

As of now, an acting Provost has been selected in accordance with the laws administering the foundation. Educator Antonia Okeoghene Ogbera, who before now was the Deputy Provost has been designated to assume control IMMEDIATELY. Mrs Ogbera is a Professor of Medicine and Consultant Physician Endocrinologist.
