Police weapon down four infamous criminals in Rivers

FOUR infamous equipped criminals that have been threatening Adam pivot of Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State were on Monday shot dead by policemen.

It was accumulated that the shooters had held up in an inn in Oyigbo after one of their operations when a group of policemen trailed them to the refuge.

A source revealed that the policemen appended to Adam Divisional Police Station shot and murdered the crooks previously they (punks) could get hold of their weapons.

The episode was said to have occurred toward the beginning of the day, even as the sound of shots was said to have terrified a few representatives of the lodging.

It was learnt that the security agents were driven by one Inspector Chris, who guaranteed that all escape courses inside the lodging were obstructed before the Armed burglars were slaughtered.

Whenever reached, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni, said he didn't know about the occurrence, however would just talk when he got points of interest from the Divisional Police Officer in the region.
