Discussion as IBB denies asking Buhari not to recontest in another open letter


Discussion as another letter has been accounted for to have exuded from the camp of previous President Ibrahim Babaginda, saying that he criticized his underlying letter where said that President Muhammadu Buhari ought not challenge for 2019 decision saying that 'the following race in 2019 along these lines presents us an extraordinary chance to reevaluate the will and incite new initiative that would quickly start the way toward mending the injuries in the land and guaranteeing that the desires and goals of the general population are acknowledged in building and maintaining national union and agreement.

'I ask the Almighty Allah concede us the endowment of good life to witness that wonderful sunrise in 2019. So be it. I have not composed an open letter to the President, I have recently imparted my considerations to kindred countrymen on the need to enthrone more youthful blood into the standard of our political authority beginning from 2019.'

Be that as it may, in the new letter Babaginda criticized the underlying letter saying that it is false, it is completely, an off base portrayal of his perspective of the condition of our dear Nation.

The following is the new letter:

My consideration has been attracted to a report making rounds particularly online in which I was cited as encouraging Nigerians not to vote in favor of President Muhammadu Buhari in the coming 2019 race. Not exclusively is the said explanation false, it is completely, a wrong portrayal of my perspective of the condition of our dear Nation. As a previous President and a senior statesman, I have existing correspondence channels through which I connect with President Muhammadu Buhari on topical issues of national significance, ought to there be the need so to do. The media, both on the web or standard and in fact the clueless open are encouraged to dismissal such false reports. Much obliged to you and God Bless all of you.
