Nasri: I feared my career was over

Cristiano Ronaldo is being asked by police in the US to give a DNA test in a continuous examination of a lady's charge that he assaulted her in his Las Vegas lodging penthouse in 2009, the footballer's attorney has said.

Dwindle S Christiansen made light of the advancement, denied the assault claim and gave no extra subtleties.

He didn't promptly affirm a Wall Street Journal report refering to an anonymous law implementation source saying that Las Vegas police got a warrant that was sent to Italy to get a DNA test from the 33-year-old Ronaldo, who plays for Juventus.

"Mr Ronaldo has constantly kept up, as he does today, that what happened in Las Vegas in 2009 was consensual in nature, so it isn't astonishing that DNA would be available, nor that the police would make this exceptionally standard demand as a major aspect of their examination," Mr Christiansen said.

Las Vegas police declined to remark, said Officer Laura Meltzer, an office representative.

The police case was shut in 2009 when the supposed unfortunate casualty, Kathryn Mayorga, declined to name her supposed aggressor.

The police examination was revived at Ms Mayorga's ask for last August, without further ado before the previous model and teacher recorded a common claim in state court guaranteeing that Ronaldo assaulted her and that she had been paid $375,000 to keep it mystery.

Ms Mayorga has given assent through her attorneys to make her name open.

Ronaldo has not been presented with the claim, Mr Christiansen said.

The claim is on and the criminal police examination are on discrete lawful tracks.

Ms Mayorga's legal counselors, Leslie Mark Stovall and Larissa Drohobyczer, have no data about the police test, Ms Drohobyczer said.

Ronaldo denies all cases made against him.
