Neymar sad about injury

Paris Saint-Germain head mentor Thomas Tuchel says the club will know the degree of Neymar's metatarsal damage one week from now.

The Brazil forward, 26, limped off with tears in his eyes amid PSG's 2-0 French Cup win against Strausbourg on Wednesday in the wake of enduring damage to his correct foot.

PSG are as of now without midfielder Marco Verratti after he sprained his lower leg last Saturday. Tuchel said it "was the most exceedingly bad thing that could have occurred", portraying the damage as "genuine".

The PSG head mentor lets it out is a "tragic" circumstance for both Neymar and the club, with the outing to Manchester United in the Champions League under three weeks away.

"Unfortunately sure, after Marco (Verratti), presently Ney," he said.

"They are key players, players with incredible quality, quality unprecedented, they are missed significantly and yet, it is our test to discover an answer.

"That is the activity of the entire group since we don't have players that can play like Marco or Ney, that would supplant them both impeccably, yet we are a solid group and we remain together and we will demonstrate it."

Neymar will trust he can return so as to play United in the primary leg of PSG's Champions League last-16 tie.

He missed last season's most recent 16 second leg against Real Madrid with comparable damage. They lost 2-1 (5-2 on total).

PSG skipper Thiago Silva stated: "Clearly, Neymar is miserable. Like a year ago, he began the season great.

"He is harmed again at the most critical snapshot of the season. He's miserable. Recently, we did whatever it takes not to discuss his damage. We have talked different things to make him grin.

"Since when we are at this critical phase of the season, it's hard not to have the capacity to play."
