However, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Jimoh Ozi-Obeh, said it was not a burglary assault, but rather a misconception between the coordinators.

He said the first arrangement was that Kiss Daniel and different artists would perform at the U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar, yet the setting was changed to the Christmas town with no notice to security organizations.

"There was no burglary occurrence in Calabar and no one was assaulted by criminals in some other piece of Cross River State.
