'I live with 50 orphans' -Dr (Rev) Gabriel Oyediji
Feeling streamed on Wednesday as kid rights campaigner, Dr (Rev) Gabriel Oyediji, denoted his 60th birthday celebration with a symposium on the difficulties of kid security in Nigeria and the route forward. Oyediji, who is additionally the General Overseer of Christ Compassionate Ministries, at the event facilitated by the Child Protection Network, Alimosho Chapter, stated, "I live with 50 vagrants. I resemble a father figure. I feel satisfied that God is utilising me."
He described how a surrendered infant was gotten in Ikotun region of Lagos that morning to join the youngsters living in his halfway house. The event was led by Mr Kola Abiola, Chairman Emeritus, Keystone Bank Plc. Relate Professor Chinwe R. Nwanna of the Department of Sociology/Social Work, University of Lagos, was the visitor instructor while the Commander, Area M of the Nigeria Police, ACP Austines Akika and the UNICEF Child Specialist, among others, were in participation.
