Ekiti PDP gov wannabes to challenge essential

A previous Senate President, David Mark, has said the emergency between Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State and governorship wannabes in the state section of the Peoples Democratic Party has been settled.

Emergency had hit PDP in Ekiti when Fayose purportedly embraced his delegate as his successor.

Individuals from the peace panel are Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Ambassador Ibrahim Kazaure, Alhaji Yusuf Ayitogo, Ambassador Fidelia Njeze and Dr. Whirlpool Olafeso (Secretary).

The announcement mostly read, "All the PDP wannabes for Ekiti State 2018 governorship race will now confront party essential unhindered.

"The applicants, who have shown enthusiasm for the position so far are the present Deputy Governor, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka; Senator Biodun Olujimi, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, Ambassador Dare Dejide and Mr. Owoseni Ajayi."

Addressing our reporter on Saturday, Adeyeye said he was happy with the reconcilliatory meeting, including that he believed in Mark to determine the issues in Ekiti PDP.
