I'm not mindful of INEC's test, says Bello
Kogi State Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello says he doesn't know about the assertion of twofold enrolment levelled against him by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The senator said this because of INEC's position that he has not been let free finished the charged twofold enlistment outrage.
He talked through the state's Director-General, Publicity and Media Strategy, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo.
Fanwo expressed that Bello had made it clear that he was not in the nation on the day he was claimed to have enlisted for the second time.
He stated, "We don't know that the representative was on any snare the extent that the issue of twofold enrollment is concerned. He has said a few times that he was not in the nation when the indicated twofold enrollment was supposedly done. We have proof to that impact."
Fanwo demanded that the representative connected for the exchange of his Permanent Voter Card to his surveying unit in Okene and that INEC had done what was proper in the situation.
INEC had, on Thursday, said the senator's instance of twofold enrolment was pending and that he would have been arraigned, however for his resistance including that "the needful will be done at the fitting time."
