Three Nigerians for US wrestling competition

The Nigeria Wrestling Federation has said three of the nation's female free-form wrestlers will contend at the Beat the Streets wrestling occasion in New York on the welcome of the United States Wrestling Federation.

The one-day occasion, which is planned to occur in New York City, hangs on May 17.

The NWF said the wrestlers would be from the 55kg, 57kg and 59kg weight classes, including that they would be joined by a mentor and a group pioneer. The league said the coordinations for the opposition would be dealt with by the coordinators of the competition.

"This is an extraordinary open door for your solid league to feature altruism occasion with the United States while in the meantime advancing the game of wrestling," the welcome letter sent to the NWF read to some extent.

"As our game pushes ahead, it is still essential that the wrestling scene powers proceed to join together and demonstrate development to the International Olympic Committee and this occasion is the ideal chance to help bolster wrestling on both a grassroots and global level.

"Moreover, we will make a point to make your stay in New York City as agreeable and essential as could reasonably be expected."

Nigeria's wrestlers are relied upon to land in New York for the occasion on May 14 and withdraw on May 18.
