The Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, said on Saturday that he had faith in the standards of the late preservationist, Ken Saro-Wiwa without knowing him.

Amaechi expressed this amid the introduction of an ace APC non-govermental association, Free Rivers Development Initiative (FRDI) in Bori, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers.

He said that the late naturalist from Ogoni trusted that the general population of Ogoni, South-South and Niger Delta were mistreated. "Saro-Wiwa was slaughtered by the then apparatus of energy due to his trust that Ogonis and the Niger Delta ought to be freed.

"I could have been slaughtered by same apparatus of energy when we were battling to introduce President Muhammadu Buhari on the grounds that we battled same power that executed Saro-Wiwa, " he said. As indicated by Amaechi, a few Ogoni children and little girls think that its hard to relate to the late tree hugger yet he related to him.
