Nigeria needs deliverance over FESTAC 77

A Lagos-based minister, Felix Adunpe, says the profound attack caused by Nigeria's facilitating of the Festival of Arts and Culture Nigeria in 1977 remains the nation's concern, and not disappointments of progressive governments.

He, along these lines, said that Nigeria required deliverance from willful servitude through the facilitating of the celebration.

Adunpe, who is an evangelist and general supervisor of Signs and Wonders Prayer Ministries Evangelical for All Nations, talked in a meeting with writers.

As indicated by an announcement on Friday, the priest said the issues tormenting Nigeria would not be settled by simply evacuating President Muhammadu Buhari and supplanting him in 2019.

He said it would add up to deception to trust that occasional change in government would convey the coveted advance and improvement to the nation.

The general regulator stated, "We have to meet up and appeal to God, paying little respect to our religious convictions, in the event that we should advance as a country.

"We have attempted both military and non military personnel governments, yet any expectation of better life for Nigerians remains an illusion. Nigeria must be reclaimed from wrongdoing of commending icons above God; we should appeal to God for the nation to be free from all types of devilish powers upsetting the nation since the facilitating of FESTAC in 1977."

The minister, who said God had guided him to hold an interdenominational campaign, labeled 'Nigeria Must Be Redeemed' in Osun State, encouraged Nigerians to implore unto God for the freedom of the nation, saying if all would participate in supplication and fasting, the nation would advance.
